Welcome to Candles From the Keeping Room!

Hello, my name is Carol and I am so pleased that you have stopped by. 

 I am 72 years young, with tons of energy; more than some like, and love to create, not only in wax, but other mediums also. 

I have been in business for over 25 years, mostly in the Arts. I have been making candles and tarts since 2000, and just love what I do. I love to offer new scents and ideas all the time. 

I have been very blessed. I have a wonderful 3,500 square foot candle studio to create and work in. It is in the lower half of a bank barn. To me, it is like a little bit of heaven. 

Over the past 20 years, I have sold on ebay,etsy, and have now my own web site..and I have met the most wonderful people. They are almost like family to me, so I really have the best of both worlds here.

 I am married to a wonderful man. He is a retired firefighter from San Diego and have 2 wonderful children and 10 grandkiddos.

 My other loves are going to flea markets. I collect pewter, primitives, love to paint, make rugs, take pictures, work with clay, and my favorite thing to do is to Google, I love to learn about new things.

 My goal has been over the past few years, to learn one new thing a day, even if it is a word!
