**Important Information About Ordering**
We have our shopping cart designed to protect the buyer and to keep the inventory count so you can be assured that you will get your product that you desire.
Our website consists of 2 carts along with paypal as our payment processor for credit cards. For our carts and paypal to communicate properly, it is important that once you start your order, please complete the checkout process all the way through until you arrive back at the main homepage of our website. If you do not complete the checkout process completely, the order will not complete and the inventory will not be removed from our website. You must follow through with the order completely or your payment will be refunded and no order will be processed.
On money orders, they are expected with in 7 days, please note, you still have to go thru the shopping cart all the way, and you will know you completed the order when you are taken back to the my web site. If you do not go completely through the process, I will not get the order and the inventory will not be adjusted.
To insure that you receive what you order, we have implemented a one hour shopping window. As you are ordering, the items will temporarily be removed from available stock so that no one else can order it. As long as you check out within this time frame and complete full check out, the items will be yours. If you take longer than an hour to checkout, the items will revert back to available. Please do be aware nothing is perfect, and if there is a problem with your order, I will contact you. Look and peek all you wish, but from the minute you put the first item in the shopping cart, the hour begins. Our testers did not have a problem with the time and found it easy to work with.
Lastly because we must have a control inventory to have a ready to ship business, you will notice you CANNOT adjust the qty of items in your cart. We suggest that you order one at a time, if you wish 2 of the same item, just add that item to your cart 2 times, then you can just tick the box to remove one of them if needed.
TART WARMING 101 - FEW QUESTIONS ASKED & ANSWERED
1. 24 Watt Burners are like using a 40 watt electric bulb melter.
2. 24 Watt Burners make the tart aroma more intense, because the wax will be hotter. To save on tarts and have them last longer, once you have fully melted your tart and are smelling the wonderful aroma, turn off the burner. The aroma will linger for quite a while, thus your tarts will last longer.
3. What is a tart? A WICKLESS piece of wax made in certain shapes, that have been scented with a fragrance oil.
4. Always store tarts in glass containers or cello bags, not plastic. Plastic will suck out the fragrance oil in time.
5. Wax spill? Place a white paper towel over the dried wax and iron it, the wax will soak up into the towel. If it is colored wax, run away from home. :)
6. This is the most ask question.....what is a tart warmer-burner? It is a vessel that holds scented wax. It is powered by an electric outlet or a tea light candle, which heats the scented wax. A flameless way of getting a room full of yummy scents.
About Our Tarts
We have over 50 different molds that I use in making your tarts. Because we are a ready to ship company, when you see a tart or candle listed for sale, it is ready to go right out. You will not be waiting for it to be made. Our tarts and candles are ready to melt or burn right away, no cure time is needed. I pick the mold that is most suitable for that scent; example, if it is a cake, it will be in a cake mold, a pie scent will be in a pie shape. You will need to trust our judgment what mold works for that scent. You will also see pictures of certain tarts; example say the strawberry, that is a picture of what you will get, and the drop down menu will tell you what scents are available in that style. As holidays approach you will see new pictures added. Like in the fall, I love to use my chunky pumpkins, ghosts and leaves. There will be a drop down menu of what scents are available in those styles. Because we are a small business, please do not ask for a certain scent, in a certain style with your order. However, I do love suggestions, so if you see a scent that you love and it is not available, please feel free to email me so that I can add it to the remake list.
Brand Name Info
Some of our scents are inspired by the designer fragrances they represent. These fragrance oils are not connected with any brand name in any way. The brand names are the exlusive property of their original manufacturer and are registered trademarks names. We are careful to point out, that we do not represent or have any affiliation with these fine perfume, bed and bath companies.
How to Burn our Candles-Important
When burning a candle for the first time, it's suggested that you burn it one hour for each inch in diameter. This will allow the pool of wax to reach the edge of the candle. This will prevent your candle from forming a "canyon" in the center. Burning a candle this way, will also set it's memory. Each time you burn the candle it will "remember" to burn to it's edge. If on your first time, you can not do this, then put off lighting the candle, until you have time to do this.
After you have set the memory of the candle, never allow any candle to burn longer then 3-4 hours without extinguishing it. Allow it to cool completely, trim the wicks, remove any soot flakes or wick trimmings, before lighting again. Wax and fragrance oils do have flash points and when it is reached, due to extended burning times, it can flash and catch fire.
